Hello, Procrastination

Keeping up with one’s blog and writing a research paper for school don’t seem to mix well. However, sometimes you just gotta take a breather from all the school stress and write a post for your fashion blog, am I right or am I right?! I am seriously ready for this semester to be over, and blissful summer to begin. Until then, I guess its time to just put my head down and “get ‘er done!” In the meantime, I hope you enjoyed this little bit of distraction from what I should be doing….crafting a thesis paper (wah).

Xena: Warrior Princess Sandals

These sandals are an example of fashion that my boyfriend doesn’t get. After a couple years together, I am used to the “what the hell are you wearing?” look that I get when I wear things that are a bit more…daring. And you know what? That’s ok. I can handle the chuckles and references to “Xena: Warrior Princess.” I do have to admit, these sandals are kind of crazy, and I was not always a fan. Perhaps they’re an acquired taste, like an IPA or a Negroni. (neither of which you will find me drinking but, hey, maybe someday!…also, you know I just got done bartending when I am making drink references…) In any case, these sandals make me feel kind of like a badass and a greek goddess all at the same time so go ahead and think I’m crazy all you want! 😉
